Laser Engrave it!

No job is too big or small. Whether it is a promotional product or a personalised gift for your loved one, JEB Woodworking can offer custom laser engraving.

Simply email us a copy of your logo or design and it can be laser engraved to any of our products. You must have full rights to use the image/design.

Images must be in black and white. Greyscale not accepted.

Supported file types:

TIFF, BMP, JPG or other Raster images that are 1-Bit black and white camera ready artwork. No grey scale. Should be in a minimum of 300 DPI resolution.

Adobe Illustrator, EPS, PDF vector artwork that has all text converted to curves or outlines.

Laser engraving is different to computer printing. Printers can handle grey scale effects of artworks creating a smoothing process. Laser engraving is a burning technique, and burns each pixel regardless of shade level that would be found in greyscale images.

Unacceptable file types

JPG or GIF images or other low resolution images converted to a TIFF or BMP and even if the resolution is changed to 300 dpi, are not acceptable if the original image was less than 300 DPI. Simply resaving a file as a new file type, does not increase the quality of the pixels in the artwork itself. Images from web sites are typically in 72 or 96 DPI. Please contact your company’s graphic department to obtain a High Resolution logo, vs using one off your company’s web site.

If you do not have a high resolution image or must use one from your companies web site, please be aware that the end result of the laser engraving may not look professional. We can re-design the image if you prefer using the artwork you supply from your company web site, however there is a graphic design charge of $60/hour billable in 15 minute increments.

Images embedded inside word documents or other documents such as spreadsheets, will not be accepted. Please provide the raw artwork itself.
